五.教学过程:
Step1 Revision
  1. Ask some students to recite and act the conversations on 1a in pairs.
  2. Review the adjectives about feeling.
Step2 Presentation
  1. Show the following words ,ask students to pay attention to the stress and the underlined parts. Conclude the adjectives with–ing and –ed. Tell them the usage.
  2. Play the tape, have students listen and read the words on 2a after tape for some times. Then remember the words in groups. Finish 2a.
  3. Do some exercise. Fill in the blanks with the correct forms of the given words. Then check the answers. Finish 2b.
Step3 Listening
1. Show some sentences. Have students read them for some minutes, know the meaning of the sentences.
2. Play the tape, ask students to listen carefully, and complete the sentences. Then check the answers.RFinish 3
3. Show the passage on 3.Play the tape again, students read the passage after tape for some times.
4. Lead students to find out the key poinys“linking verbs+adjectives”in the passage.
Step4 Learning
1.Show the words on 3, ask students to read the words, pay attention to the sounds of the underlined letters.Try to find the rules.
2. Do some exercise. Show some more words, ask students to read aloud, and group them according to the pronunciation of the underlined letters of the words.
3. Conclude the rules of pronouncing“-ed”.Finish 2a
1)/t/:  When the pronunciation of the word ends with a voiceless consonant (清辅音).
2)/d/:  When the pronunciation of the word ends with a voiced consonant (浊辅音) or vowels(元音).
3)/id/: When the pronunciation of the word ends with /t/ or /d/.
总结:清清浊浊元也浊
Step5 Practicing
  1. Show some sentences in the box. Ask students to read and know the meaning of them.
  2. Show a dialog to students, have students read it for some times, and know the meaning. Choose the correct sentences to complete the conversation. Then check the answers.
  3. Let students read and act the conversation in pair for some time, then choose several pairs to show their work. Finish 4b
  4. Do some exercise
Fill in the blanks with the proper forms of the given words.
