Step1 Revision
- Ask and answer between teacher and students, encourage students to use as many words about feelings as they can.
A:How are you feeling today?
B:I’m feeling….
- Have students answer some questions according the conversations on Section A.
How does Kangkang feel? Why?
What are the parents going to do?
When are they going?
What do the children plan to do then?
What will Kangkang’s mother do for the children?
Who did Kangkang see on the way? What happened?
What’s Mr. Brown’s favorite movie?
3)Do some exercise. Review some adjectives about feeling.
Step2 Presentation
- Show some pictures and sentences including the words“seem”, ask students to guess the meaning and conclude the usage, then share them with the whole class.
- Do some exercise.Translate the sentences into Chinese.
- 他似乎很喜欢看京剧。
- 因为没买到票,王先生似乎很沮丧。
- 这个小女孩似乎才7岁。
- 爸爸昨天似乎很难过。
Step3 Learning
- Play the tape, have students listen carefully, and finish the exercise on 1b.
- Show students some pictures. Ask students to listen to the tape again, and match the pictures with the names.
